About Edric Tjandra
Edric Tjandra learned comedy on the job, without acting school behind him. He joined Extravaganza, the sketch programme that ran on Trans TV from 2004 to 2009, played characters in its sketches and presented its parody news slot, Extranews.
After the programme ended he stayed in film and presenting, and later found a second audience with short comic videos whose humour rests on absurd behaviour and situations that escalate rather than on written punchlines. Tulalit is still the film credit most people name.
