About Ery Makmur
Ery Makmur, born Muhammad Ery Noor Syukri in Jakarta in 1984, is known by the name of the character that made him famous: Makmur, his role in the television series Awas Ada Sule, which started in 2009. Before that he had studied television and film at Institut Kesenian Jakarta, and he began working as an actor, comedian and presenter in 2005, with a debut in Big is Beautiful.
Makmur stayed with him beyond the original series, turning up in Kanjeng Mami in 2011 and in the Awas Ada Sule sequels. His film credits include Sule, Ay Need You (2012), Romantini (2013), Catatan Dodol Calon Dokter (2016) and Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie (2021), and his later television work includes the series Dari Jendela SMP and Takdir Cinta yang Kupilih.
