About Nedi Gampo
Nedi Erman, known by the stage name Nedi Gampo, was a Minangkabau artist active from the 1990s until his death in 2019, working as a host, comedian, singer and songwriter of Minang pop music. His songs, marked by a humorous and comic style, were popular across West Sumatra.
He died on February 28, 2019, at Ibnu Sina Islamic Hospital in Padang. At the time of his death he was registered as a legislative candidate for the West Sumatra regional assembly with the Gerindra Party.
