About Oki Daeng Mabone
Oki Daeng Mabone is an Indonesian stand-up comedian from Pelawa village in Central Sulawesi. After several failed audition attempts between 2015 and 2018, he won the fourth season of Stand Up Comedy Academy on Indosiar on October 20, 2018, prevailing over fellow finalists Ebel and Didi Sunardi in a three-way grand final and receiving a prize of 100 million rupiah. His winning set included an impersonation of the folk hero Wiro Sableng. Mentored during the competition alongside coaches including Gilang Bhaskara, Isman H. Suryaman, and David Nurbianto, Oki built his material from simple, everyday stories rooted in his home village. After the win he performed on national stages and moved into other creative work, though for about three years he stepped back from paid stand-up shows. In 2026, media in Central Sulawesi reported his return to the stand-up stage, framing him as proof that talent from outside Jakarta can compete in the national entertainment industry.
