About Rizky Firdaus Wijaksana
Uus came up through Stand Up Comedy Indonesia on Kompas TV, joining its 2013 season as a competitor, and a few years later he was hosting the same programme. That route, from contestant to presenter of the show that made him, is common in Indonesian comedy and he is one of its clearest examples.
He studied English literature in Bandung and performs in Indonesian, with material that leans on wordplay and on a dry, faintly superior delivery. Comedy panel shows take up much of his television work, and acting has grown alongside the stand-up rather than replacing it, in Indonesian film comedies and in the streaming series Imperfect the Series.
