Sardol Skondegay

Sardol Skondegay is an Indonesian stand-up comedian from Medan and a member of the Stand Up Indo Medan community. He performs a comic persona built around his Indian-Indonesian heritage, often introducing himself on stage as being from "Prindavan," a well-known Indonesian internet slang term derived from Vrindavan, the Hindu pilgrimage city in India, used humorously to refer to India or people of Indian descent. He built a following through comedy clips on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube centered on Medan life and this persona. In 2025 Sardol was selected as one of eleven new comedians who advanced through "Mencari Komplotan Baru Comic 8: Revolution," a reality competition that auditioned stand-up comedians in major Indonesian cities, to join the cast of the film Comic 8 Revolution: Santet K4bin3t, released in cinemas in December 2025. The selection process included city auditions, a "Golden Mic" showcase round, and a quarantine phase with comedy training before the new ensemble for the long-running Comic 8 franchise from Falcon Pictures was chosen.
