Hasan Reyvandi

Hasan Reyvandi plays halls, not clubs. The format is a full house and an evening that mixes social satire with vocal impressions, and the impressions are the part audiences wait for: he began with cartoon voices as a boy, then moved to imitating Iranian singers, classical performers and pop stars alike.

He trained in physical education and worked as a teacher before performing became the job, and his first stage appearance was in his home town of Sabzevar. His first large comedy concert filled Milad Tower in Tehran in 2013, and that show set the pattern for a career built on big rooms and on jokes about ordinary Iranian life that stay inside what can be said from a public stage.
