Rory O'Hanlon

Rory O'Hanlon is an Irish stand-up comedian who began performing in Dublin in 2005. He has appeared at every major Irish comedy festival, including the Cat Laughs, Electric Picnic, the Paddy Power Comedy Festival, the Cork Comedy Festival, the Galway Comedy Festival and the London Irish Comedy Festival, and has staged solo shows at the Edinburgh, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne comedy festivals. His rapid-fire delivery has been praised by Chortle for its 'presence, poise and timing' and by The Irish Times, which credited him with 'a joke every 30 seconds.' He has also toured internationally, performing in cities including Dubai, Moscow, Monte Carlo, Oslo, Berlin, New York and Paris. Much of his act is built around a satirical 'D4' persona, a comic caricature of wealthy South Dublin privilege. With an online following of more than 100,000, he embarked on his first sold-out headline tour of Ireland and the UK in 2025.
