About Alessandro Gori
Alessandro Gori built his comic voice online. In 2005 he launched the satirical blog Lo Sgargabonzi, named after a card from the game Mercante in fiera drawn by Benito Jacovitti, and the blog's title became the pseudonym he is known by. Satirical pieces and comics for the magazine Linus followed between 2016 and 2019.
A large share of his output lives on the page. Jocelyn uccide ancora came out with minimum fax in 2018, and Rizzoli Lizard published Confessioni di una coppia scambista al figlio morente, Canzoniere dei parchi acquatici and Gruppo di leprecauni in un interno. Confessioni was also adapted for the stage, and the book together with that adaptation won the Premio Satira Politica Forte dei Marmi. Television had him first as a recurring guest on Battute? and then as writer and performer on Una pezza di Lundini, where he created the segment Contacting Bowie. His stage shows include Lo Sgargabonzi Live! and 20 monologhi sulla morte.
