About Barbascura X
Barbascura X came to comedy from the laboratory. He graduated in organic chemistry at the University of Bari and went on to work on the synthesis of new pharmaceutical products at Trinity College in Dublin, and science sits at the centre of his YouTube work. His main channel, opened in 2014, carries Scienza Brutta, a format that explains science through humour, and Riassuntazzi brutti brutti, in which he gives comic summaries of episodes of films and series.
Television took up the same mix. At the end of 2020 he starred in the four-part docu-fiction Post Scriptum, he hosted the two seasons of Micromostri con Barbascura X on DMAX, and in 2022 he led 72 animali pericolosi on the same channel. He has also taken part in Comedy Central programmes such as Stand-up comedy. On the page he is the author of Il genio non esiste (e a volte è un idiota) and Saggio erotico sulla fine del mondo, the graphic novel Frank and the Il satiro scientifico series.
