Dario Cassini

Dario Cassini is an Italian stand-up comedian, actor and cabaret performer born on June 18, 1967 in Naples. Active since 1989 and based in Rome for nearly two decades, he is a familiar face from Zelig, Colorado and Le Iene on Mediaset, best known for sharp dating monologues built around the contradictions of relationships and the female universe.

Cassini made his television debut in 1989 on Raffaella Carra's Rai Uno show Il Principe Azzurro and reached the wider Italian audience as a recurring comic on the Italia 1 hit Le Iene with Simona Ventura, where his monologues on couples and dating became his signature. He has been a regular Zelig and Colorado cabaret presence across the 2000s and 2010s and a fixture on the Maurizio Costanzo Show, and he played supporting comedy roles in Italian films and the long-running Rai fiction Don Matteo. On stage he tours theatres across Italy with one-man shows including Dario Cassini Show and the 2025-2026 program Faccio del mio peggio, an intense and biting solo show built around the manias and vices of contemporary Italy. He hosts the Radio Kiss Kiss programme Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and appears occasionally as actor in music videos, including 883's Se tornerai and Marina Rei's Primavera. His style is conversational observational stand-up with a strong Neapolitan rhythm, focused on dating, gender clichés and the absurdities of modern romance.

Dario Cassini tours Italian theatres in the 2025-2026 season with his stand-up show Faccio del mio peggio, with recent dates at Sala del Suffragio in Medicina, Bologna and the Cine Teatro Ariston in Trapani in May 2026.
