Ippolita Baldini
Stand-up comedian from Italy 🇮🇹
About Ippolita Baldini
Ippolita Baldini came to comedy as a trained stage actress. She graduated from the Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica Silvio D'Amico, and some of her first independent work consisted of salon performances built on the repertoire of Franca Valeri and Franca Rame.
The turn to cabaret happened at Zelig Lab in Milan, where she created Lucia Agazzi, a single Milanese woman on a permanent hunt for love. That character became her calling card and took her onto Colorado on Italia 1, onto Zelig Time and Zelig, and later onto Only Fun Comico Show on Nove. She also played Beatrice in the last season of Camera Café. The acting side never stopped: her theatre credits range from Shakespeare and Molière to her own Mia Mamma È Una Marchesa, and her first cinema part was in Benvenuti al Nord, directed by Luca Miniero.
