Pasquale Petrolo

Lillo, born Pasquale Petrolo in Rome on 27 August 1962, is an Italian comedian best known as one half of the comedy duo Lillo & Greg, formed with Claudio Gregori. The duo works on stage, film, television and radio, and the pair are also musicians, authors and cartoonists. Petrolo and Gregori first met in 1986, when they both worked as cartoonists for the same publishing house, ACME, where Petrolo was the author of Zio Tibia, created together with Michelangelo La Neve.

When the publishing house ACME failed in 1991, the two decided to engage in new projects, most notably the creation of a comedy rock group, Latte & i Suoi Derivati ("Milk & Its Derivatives"). Active in television, radio, on stage and in films, they are among the creators of the TV-program Le Iene, and since 2003 they have been authors and hosts of the program 610 - Sei Uno Zero on Radio 2. The duo's filmography includes Bagnomaria (1999), Lillo e Greg - The Movie! (2007) and Natale a Londra - Dio salvi la regina (2016). As a solo performer, Lillo has appeared in films such as LOL - Chi ride e fuori (2020), Il mostro della cripta (2021) and Sono Lillo (2023).
