Omar Fantini
About Omar Fantini
Omar Fantini trained as an actor before comedy took over, attending the Acting Center run by Richard Gordon in 1994, and from 1999 he was creating cabaret shows of his own. His first television work came on Odeon TV. The Mediaset programmes Ciro presenta Visitors and Colorado brought him to a national audience, and in 2004 he added MTV Comedy Lab, Super Ciro and Sformat on Rai 2.
Presenting has been as large a part of his working life as comedy. On Comedy Central he fronted Metropolis alongside Melita Toniolo and later Central Station, which also ran on MTV. Radio has been a long thread too: Lo Zoo di 105 on Radio 105 from 2004, the Virgin Rock Cafè morning show on Virgin Radio from 2014, and Belli Svegli on Discoradio from 2019. In 2025 he went on L'isola dei famosi on Canale 5 as a contestant, and he has appeared in the Nove programme Only Fun - Comico Show.
