Pietro Sparacino

Pietro Sparacino is an Italian stand-up comedian, author and actor born in 1982 in Rosolini in southeastern Sicily and based in Rome. Active since 2009 as part of the founding Satiriasi collective, he is considered one of the first Sicilian voices of modern Italian stand-up and a recurring face of the Stand Up Comedy program on Comedy Central Italia.

Sparacino made his television debut in 2009 in the first lineup of Satiriasi on the Stand Up Comedy show on Comedy Central, Sky, where he then appeared as a fixed comedian from 2014 to 2018 with routines such as Un siciliano a Roma, Piccole contraddizioni umane and Il giocatore di calcetto. He worked as a correspondent and writer for Le Iene on Italia 1 between 2015 and 2017 and was an author on Scherzi a Parte in 2018. He toured Italy for years with his solo show Occhiaie, joined the cast of the The Jackal mockumentary Pesci Piccoli, with the second season released on Amazon Prime Video on June 13, 2025, and in 2025 launched his new stand-up show Il Ventennio to mark twenty years on Italian stages. His comedy is deadpan, observational and socially conscious, drawing on Sicilian roots, language and contemporary Italian neologisms.

Sparacino tours Italy with his current show Il Ventennio and continues to host and headline regular stand-up nights at The Comedy Club in Rome, plus dates such as the Stand Up & Down series at Le Gru in Turin. New Stand Up Comedy episodes featuring his sets air on Comedy Central Italia on Sky and stream on NOW, and Pesci Piccoli 1 and 2 stream on Amazon Prime Video.
