Roberto Lipari

Roberto Lipari is an Italian stand-up comedian, actor, television host and director born September 12, 1990 in Palermo, Sicily. He came up through Sicilian cabaret and television talent shows, and since 2021 he has co-hosted the long-running Mediaset satirical news show Striscia la notizia on Canale 5 alongside fellow Palermitan Sergio Friscia.

Lipari started in cabaret in Palermo in the duo Sale e Pepe with Antonio Pepati and built a following through viral web videos. In 2016 he won the LA7 comedy show Eccezionale veramente, then joined the cast of Italia 1's Colorado for two seasons. His stand-up show Batti panni Lipari tutto has played more than 400 dates in Italian theaters. In 2017 he made his cinema debut in Classe Z, and in 2019 he starred in TuttAPPosto and joined Striscia la notizia as a correspondent. In autumn 2021 he was promoted to co-host of Striscia la notizia with Sergio Friscia, and the pairing has been renewed for four consecutive seasons through 2025. On July 25, 2023 his directorial debut So tutto di te premiered on Prime Video, with Lipari himself starring alongside Sergio Friscia and Leo Gullotta. His comedy is observational, family-friendly and steeped in Palermitan dialect and Sicilian everyday absurdities.

Roberto Lipari tours Italian theaters with the long-running stand-up show Batti panni Lipari tutto and newer dates, from Palermo's Teatro Golden to venues across Sicily and the rest of Italy. Striscia la notizia airs weeknights on Canale 5 with archive on Mediaset Infinity, the Prime Video film So tutto di te is available worldwide and tour announcements appear on Instagram @_lipari.roberto.lr_.
