About Simone Schettino
Simone Schettino is a comedian and cabaret performer from Castellammare di Stabia who performs in Italian and describes himself, with a wink, as a Neapolitan fundamentalist. That tag became the title of his stage show Il Fondamentalista Napoletano, and later theatre work includes Mamma mia che ipocrisia and Se permettete, vorrei andare oltre.
His television credits run from Pirati Show on the regional channel Telenapoli 34 to national programmes: Convenscion on Rai 2 and SuperCiro on Italia 1. On Made in Sud, also on Rai 2, he appeared alongside Gigi D'Alessio. He has worked in cinema too, as an actor in Come sinfonia and Ammen and as the director of Made in China napoletano.
