About Shota Saimu
Shota Saimu is a Japanese stand-up comedian born on June 19, 1991, and a graduate of Kwansei Gakuin University's Faculty of International Studies. He later took his act abroad, relocating temporarily to Toronto, Canada, where he performed stand-up comedy on nearly a daily basis. He splits his time between Tokyo and Toronto, performing on domestic and international stages, and has been profiled in BRUTUS magazine's "the TRUE DIARY show" interview series about his life as a stand-up comedian.
