Jose Alberto Pasillas Salazar

Beto Pasillas, born Alberto Pasillas on May 29, 1991, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, is a Mexican comedian, content creator and YouTuber. He launched his self-titled YouTube channel in 2012 with drum covers (Blur, Muse) before pivoting to comedy and storytelling, eventually growing to more than 1.7 million subscribers. He is one of the pioneering Mexican digital comedians of the 2010s YouTuber wave.

Over more than a decade Beto Pasillas has built a comedy career on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok focused on sketches, vlogs, storytelling routines and pop culture commentary. He co-created the collaborative YouTube channel BagreTV with Samuel Fematt, which surpassed 230,000 subscribers by 2017. His viral video YO NUNCA NUNCA featured fellow Mexican creators Mario Bautista, Juanpa Zurita, Fichis and Rix. He has worked with more than 100 international brands and built a side career as a red carpet interviewer at the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys and Premios Platino. In 2015 he expanded into film production and acting with the project Paralelo. He also appeared at Advertising Week Latin America 2025 as a featured speaker on creator-led content.

Beto Pasillas is primarily a digital comedian rather than a traditional stand-up touring act. His main output is hosted on his YouTube channel (1.7M subscribers) and his comedy podcast format, with daily content also on Instagram (900K followers) and TikTok (390K followers). Occasional live appearances are tied to brand activations, podcast tapings and creator events in Mexico City and Monterrey.
