About Coral Echeverría
Coral Echeverria is a Mexican stand-up comedian, actress, director and clown performer from San Luis Potosi. She was part of the Potosimios collective, alongside fellow comedians Axel Tejada, Guillermo Pacheco (known as Memo Pacheco) and Angel Briones (known as El Patan), who worked together to build an audience for stand-up comedy in San Luis Potosi before each went on to pursue individual projects.
Echeverria has performed stand-up on Comedy Central Latin America's Stand-Up Mexico series and took part in the network's head-to-head format Duelo de Comediantes, facing fellow comedian Tio Rober. Her material draws on everyday situations, delivered through live monologos for audiences in San Luis Potosi and beyond.
Although the Potosimios collective is no longer active, its work helped establish stand-up comedy as part of San Luis Potosi's cultural life.
