Gon Curiel
About Gon Curiel
Gon Curiel studied computer systems at the Universidad Iberoamericana and worked in an office until 2012, when he left that life to make people laugh. He won the first Stand Up Comedy Festival held at Café 22, and he appeared in every season of STANDparados as well as in specials for Comedy Central Latin America.
In 2014 Netflix made him one of the first Spanish-speaking stand-up comedians with a special of his own. The same year he hosted the satirical newscast Ya Ni Llorar Es Bueno on Cadenatres, and he later appeared on Esta Noche con Arath, the programme presented by Arath de la Torre. In 2016 he launched NotiCreas, a variety show on his own YouTube channel, and he has also made the podcast El desprecio de la historia. On film he worked with Omar Chaparro on Como caído del cielo, made in collaboration with Netflix.
