Memo Pacheco

Memo Pacheco, whose full name is Guillermo Pacheco, is a Mexican stand-up comedian and content creator from San Luis Potosi with more than ten years of experience, recognized as one of the pioneers of the stand-up comedy movement in his home city. He has become a reference point in the local comedy scene and across the wider Bajio region.

Together with fellow Potosino comedians Axel Tejada, Coral Echeverria and Angel Briones, known as El Patan, Pacheco was part of the Potosimios collective, which worked to build an audience for stand-up comedy in San Luis Potosi at a time when the format was still largely unknown in the city.

One milestone of his career is his solo comedy special Comediante Local, a show built around his identity as a Potosino that mixes anecdotes and jokes rooted in local references. The special was recorded at the historic Teatro Alarcon, the venue that hosted the city's first stand-up comedy event.
