About Sandro Ruíz
Sandro Ruiz is a Mexican stand-up comedian and engineer who was born and raised on a ranch on the outskirts of Queretaro. He got his start performing at a seafood restaurant shaped like a boat, balancing his training as an engineer with a growing passion for comedy.
His material is built around self-deprecating humor about his own appearance and everyday situations drawn from his school years and family life. He has appeared on Comedy Central Latin America, including the stand-up segment Devuelveme El DIU for CC Presenta, and has performed for Comedy Central Mexico.
Ruiz tours nationally with his solo stand-up show Antes Que Todo, which mixes personal experience, everyday observation and social commentary, taking the show to cities across Mexico including Tijuana and Puebla.
