About Hayley Sproull
Hayley Sproull trained as an actor at Toi Whakaari, the drama school in Wellington, and built a comedy career alongside her screen work. She has written for Jono and Ben and 7 Days, created and starred in the web series Hayley's Kitchen, and played Mitch, a journalist overshadowed by her All Black brother, in the 2019 sitcom Golden Boy on Three.
In 2018 she began co-hosting The Great Kiwi Bake Off with Madeleine Sami. In 2019 she became host of the New Zealand edition of Have You Been Paying Attention?, and the 2021 New Zealand Television Awards named her Best Presenter in the entertainment category for it. In January 2022 she joined Fletch and Vaughan on the ZM breakfast show.
She has been a repeat performer at the NZ International Comedy Festival. In 2024 she was nominated for the Fred Award, the festival's prize for the best New Zealand show, and in May 2025 she played a new hour, The Baroness, in Wellington, with Auckland shows billed for later that month.
