Buchi

Buchi studied law at Bendel State University, the school now known as Ambrose Alli University, before comedy took over. The opening came in 2008, when he was introduced to the comedian Tee A and invited to perform at Tee-A Live N Naked in Lagos, and Opa Williams later gave him spots at Nite of a 1000 Laughs.

His material mixes observation, insult comedy and satire, and the targets sit close to home: Nigerian everyday life, popular culture, current events, politics and poverty. Over the years he has shared bills with I Go Dye, I Go Save, Basketmouth and Bovi, while his work as a composer, writer and actor continues next to the stand-up.
