About Amalie Stuve
Amalie Marie Anny Vernan Stuve was born in 2001 and works as an actress, comedian and writer in Norway. She studied on the theatre course at Romerike Folkehøgskole and the dance course at Edvard Munch upper secondary school, where she took part in the school revue and was nominated as best female actor in 2019.
From 2021 to 2023 she wrote and performed the sketch programme Amalie og Mathea for NRK together with Mathea Stensæth Josefsen. The Humorprisen for 2020/2021 named her comedy newcomer of the year, and the programme itself was nominated as comedy show of the year. In 2024 she made a sketch show of her own, Studio Stuve, again for NRK, and since January of that year she has hosted the satirical NRK podcast Desken brenner.
She played Emily in Allerud VGS on NRK1 in 2020 and has taken roles in Delete Me (Viaplay, 2021), Kjære landsmenn (TV2, 2021), Flex (NRK, 2022) and Nissene i skjul (NRK, 2025), the last of which brought her a nomination for the audience prize at Humorprisen 2025. In the spring of 2025 she took part in the eleventh season of Kongen befaler. She has also been in the ensemble of Putti Plutti Pott, danced for MGPjr and co-directed the Nissenrevyen production Familien in 2022.
