Jan-Robert Henriksen

Jan-Robert Henriksen, long billed as Yann-Robert, started performing in 1985 and learned the trade on the road. He toured for the Norwegian Armed Forces and entertained passengers on the Color Line ferries. Ventriloquism is the core of his craft, and he represented Scandinavia at ventriloquist congresses in the United States.

His stage shows VILLANDEN i festrus and 008 fyrer løs played venues such as Latter, Chat Noir and Edderkoppen teater, and both reached a wider audience in edited form on TV 2, which also made a comedy documentary about him. Trained as a police detective and jurist, he later turned to crime fiction under the name JR Henrixen, with a series that runs from De udugelige through Stålrosen and Nattklovnen to Kunsten å røve.
