About Terje Sporsem
Terje Sporsem started doing stand-up in 1996 at Christian Kvart in Oslo, and his career since then has been organised around full-length solo shows. Mitt liv som Terje came in 2007 and brought him the stå-opp prisen that year; Krig followed in 2012 and Religion in 2017, and in 2021 he marked 25 years in comedy with the premiere of Absolute norsk. Every one of these shows was nominated for best stand-up at Komiprisen on NRK.
Away from his own shows he works a great deal as a presenter. He has hosted Grip mikrofonen, Skaperen, Zebra Grand Prix, Amatørenes aften and Artistgalla, captained a team on the panel show 9 av 10 nordmenn, and in 2012 he was one of three hosts of the P4 breakfast programme on radio. In the Norwegian version of Kjæledyrenes hemmelige liv he voices the character Mel.
Cooking competitions have become a sideline of their own: he won Masterchef Norge in 2014 and Camp Kulinaris in 2019, and came second in Farmen kjendis in 2021.
