Andrii Voronoi
About Andrii Voronoi
Andrii Voronoi is a Ukrainian stand-up comedian, originally from Donetsk, who has been based in Poland since 2015. He moved to Poznan for his studies after Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, later earning a master's degree in construction and environmental engineering at Poznan University of Technology. After reaching what he has described as personal stability, he returned to his passion for entertaining audiences through original stand-up material, becoming known as the first Ukrainian stand-up comedian to perform in the Polish language. He co-founded the StandUp Poland group in Warsaw together with fellow comedians from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Voronoi organized charitable initiatives to support his countrymen, describing laughter as a taste of normalcy amid the war.
