About Grzegorz Halama
Grzegorz Halama started on the cabaret stage in 1989 with Kabaret Bez Oparcia and in 1991 and 1992 performed with Grupa Rafała Kmity. Three years later he founded his own troupe, Grzegorz Halama Oklasky, where he worked with Jarosław Jaros. From 1996 he was part of the Zielonogórskie Zagłębie Kabaretowe and made short films of his own for the A'Yoy studio, also acting in its features Robin Hood: czwarta strzała and Nakręceni. Between 1999 and 2003 he and Dariusz Kamys ran the cabaret Hi-Fi.
Wide recognition came through a hip-hop parody. As a singing bacterium he performed the song Śpiworki, which in August 2000 spent three weeks at the top of Lista Przebojów Programu Trzeciego. For the programme Żule i bandziory he invented a chatty poultry farmer from Chociule, modelled on a teacher at his old technical school in Koszalin, and from 2002 to 2011 he presented Wywiady z Panem Józkiem every Monday in Urywki z rozrywki on Polskie Radio Program III.
Television used him in other ways too. In 2007 and 2008 he played a professor on the TVN show Clever, and in spring 2010 he took part in Polsat's Just the Two of Us, singing with Małgorzata Ostrowska. His film work includes Och, Karol 2 and Polskie gówno, and since 2015 he has performed a stand-up programme called Długo i szczęśliwie, czyli intymne życie grubasa.
