About Michał Pałubski

For more than two decades Michał Pałubski's stage home was Formacja Chatelet, the Kraków cabaret he belonged to from 1996 to 2019. Among the characters he created there was Buby. He was also one of the founders of a second cabaret, Nie My.

His grounding is in the dramatic stage. After secondary school he became an actor with the theatre in Częstochowa, where he played the title role in Pan Tadeusz, directed by Adam Hanuszkiewicz, and appeared in Rewizor. He left the company after four seasons.

Stand-up arrived later in his career. In 2017 he launched the project Michał Pałubski i Brothells together with the writer Jakub Ćwiek and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu master Maciej Linke. In Piotrków Trybunalski, the town where he was born in 1979, he was among the people who came up with the idea for Trybunały Kabaretowe, a cabaret review.
