Alexandru Toma

micul Toma is a Romanian stand-up comedian and storyteller based in Bucharest. His real name is Alexandru Toma, and the stage name - meaning 'little Toma' in Romanian - has become his signature identity on stage and online. He began performing stand-up around 2005 and has built a steady following across social media and live comedy venues. With a background in graphic design and a creative approach to performance, he blends personal narratives with observational humor drawn from everyday Romanian life.

micul Toma is a regular performer at two of Bucharest's leading comedy venues: Comics Club and ComedyBox. He has released stand-up content on the ComedyBox streaming platform, including the special 'Destept = Prost + Timp', and has appeared on ComedyBox's SNews segment alongside Dan Birtas. He is part of the Ceva Marunt comedy collective, which has been a fixture on the Bucharest stand-up circuit for years. His comedy style is rooted in storytelling - building scenes and characters from personal experience rather than one-liners - and his observational material often draws on technology, daily life, and social habits. He appeared on iUmor, Antena 1's popular TV comedy show, further expanding his audience beyond the club circuit. Bookings are handled through Punchline Events ([email protected]).

micul Toma performs regularly in Bucharest at Comics Club and ComedyBox, and has appeared on the Sala Palatului stage as part of group stand-up shows. In February 2026 he was featured in the 'Partial Adevar' show at Sala Palatului alongside Sorin Parcalab and Cristi Popesco. His YouTube channel at youtube.com/@miculToma hosts stand-up clips and is the best starting point for new viewers. Stand-up content is also available on the ComedyBox platform.
