Denis Kosyakov

Denis Kosyakov trained for the stage, graduating from the Shchukin Theatre Institute in 2006, and went into television comedy almost at once. In 2007 he won the first season of Laughter Without Rules (Smekh bez pravil) on TNT, joined the channel's Killer League (Uboynaya liga) for the next few years and took part in Comedy Club.

The TNT comedy tournament Comedy Battle gave him a bronze in 2011 and the title in 2012 as part of the team Jokers. By then his work had shifted toward writing. He was showrunner and screenwriter of the sitcom Zaytsev+1, then screenwriter and creative producer of Ostrov (Island), in which he also played German Podobed, and he wrote for Otryv, for the fourth season of Ivanovy-Ivanovy and for Durdom, where he took the role of Grisha.

His acting credits outside his own projects include Vanya in the series Lyubov na rayone and Vadim in the comedy Women vs. Men (Zhenshchiny protiv muzhchin).
