Moayad Alnefaie

Moayad Alnefaie is a Saudi Arabian comedian, actor, writer and musician who trained and worked as a doctor before turning to entertainment in 2011. He partnered with the Saudi production company Telfaz11, appearing in comedy skits and sketches that drew millions of views online and helped build his reputation as a performer. He gained wider recognition for playing Saad in the short film "Wasati" (2016), inspired by real events in Riyadh. In 2019, Alnefaie starred in his own comedy special, "Comedians of the World: Middle East," on Netflix, introducing his stand-up material to an international streaming audience. He later joined the cast of Netflix's "Mo," created by Mohammed Amer and Ramy Youssef, playing the recurring character Hameed across both seasons of the series. Alongside comedy, Alnefaie pursued a music career, signing with MDLBeast Records in 2022 as the label's first hip-hop artist and releasing his debut album "Batn El Shaer" in 2023, blending classical Arabic poetry with contemporary rap. He has said that performing comedy in front of an audience helped him overcome a childhood stutter.
