박성호 (1989년)

Park Sung-ho, who performs as Singho, was trained inside a broadcaster rather than in clubs. He came through the KBS comedian intake in 2013, and his early work was sketch comedy written to a weekly deadline and played to a studio audience, the format that carried Korean comedy for decades.

He studied broadcasting and performance before that audition, and his segments ran in the KBS sketch programme Gag Concert. As network sketch comedy thinned out he moved the work to his own channel, Singsinghan Singho, where the pieces are shorter and made without a production team. He shares a name with an older comedian from the same broadcaster, which is part of why the stage name stuck.
