Kim Dongha (김동하)

Kim Dongha is a South Korean stand-up comedian who performs regularly at the Seoul Comedy Club and the Metacomedy club in Seoul's Hongdae district. Before turning to comedy, he worked as a contract Korean-language teacher at a school in Busan, leaving the profession at age 29 to join a theater in Cheongdo run by veteran comedian Jeon Yu-sung. He made his stand-up debut in 2018 in the show "Stand-up Comedy Stage 6" and became known for an improvisational style built on direct conversation with the audience rather than prepared jokes. Videos of Kim's shows, shared across YouTube and social media, have accumulated more than 300 million views. In late 2023 he completed a nationwide tour that included a sold-out performance at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, and in 2025 he launched a further nationwide tour, "Life Goes On." In April 2026, he became the first Korean stand-up comedian to complete a solo stand-up tour of North America, performing his shows entirely in Korean.
