Kim Sook

Kim Sook entered the entertainment industry through a competition: in 1995 she won silver at the National College Comedy Contest and made her debut on the back of it. From 2002 she was a cast member of the sketch show Gag Concert, where she played in segments such as Bongsunga School and Disgrace of a Family.

Her later work moved from sketches to podcasts, radio and variety television. Together with fellow comedian Song Eun-i she made the podcast Keeping Secrets, which the pair turned into a book in 2016, and the two hosted Sister's Radio on SBS Love FM from 2016 to 2019. She has also hosted or appeared on Video Star, Battle Trip and Sister's Slam Dunk. The Baeksang Arts Awards named her best female variety performer in 2016 for With You, and in 2020 the KBS Entertainment Awards gave her the Grand Prize for Problem Child in House and Boss in the Mirror, which made her the second woman to receive it.
