Ko Min-ji

Ko Min-ji is a South Korean stand-up comedian and stage actress, born November 26, 1999. She is co-representative of Busan Comedy Club, a stand-up comedy club that holds regular local shows in Busan and describes its comedians as people with day jobs, such as cafe owners, private-institute teachers and office workers, rather than broadcast-recruited television comedians. She holds a master's degree from Columbia University. Under Ko's leadership the club made its debut at the Busan International Comedy Festival through the sidebar event "I Am a Comedian" at the live venue Avant-garde near Kyungsung University, with Ko performing alongside fellow club members. She has been profiled individually in a "Person Focus" segment on the regional broadcaster KNN as the club's co-representative, and comedy content featuring her, including crowd-work clips from the club's "not funny comedian" bit, circulates on the club's Instagram and TikTok accounts. She posts under the handle Minjikomedy and runs the YouTube channel Ko Min-ji Saram-inji.
