Park Seong-gyun

Park Seong-gyun is a South Korean stand-up comedian signed to the comedy label Meta Comedy. He performs regularly at Meta Comedy Club in Hongdae, Seoul, and at Artzit, another Seoul stand-up venue where resident comedians each perform ten-minute sets nightly as part of a rotating showcase. He has said his goal is to build enough original material for a full hour-long solo special, following the American model in which comedians tour accumulated material before recording a taped special.

He co-hosts a podcast called 'Cheol-hyeon-i and Seong-gyun-i' with fellow stand-up comedian Park Cheol-hyun, and has appeared as a guest on the stand-up-focused podcast 'Drip Town'. His stand-up material includes a recurring bit built around his regional identity as a comedian from Jeolla Province performing for Jeolla Province audiences. He maintains a following on Instagram and TikTok under variations of his own name, where he posts clips from his live sets.
