About Yoo Byung-jae
Yoo Byung-jae is a South Korean comedian, actor and screenwriter, born May 6, 1988, in Hongseong County, South Chungcheong Province. He made his entertainment debut in 2011 with the single "Ni Yeojachingu," but became widely known after joining the writing staff of the sketch show SNL Korea on tvN in 2012, later becoming an on-air cast member. In June 2015 he signed with YG Entertainment as the agency's first ever comedian. On March 16, 2018, Netflix released Yoo Byung Jae: Too Much Information, billed as Netflix's first Korean stand-up comedy original, in which he built a solo set around his childhood memories and views on sex. He followed it on August 17, 2018, with a second special, Yoo Byung Jae: Discomfort Zone, addressing sensitive issues in Korean society. His contract with YG Entertainment ended in June 2019, after which he moved to Sandbox Network to focus on building a YouTube career. He now runs the YouTube channel Korean Crying Guy, which has grown to nearly two million subscribers, alongside a large following on Instagram.
