About Isaac Sánchez

Isaac Sanchez Gonzalez, born in Badalona on September 17, 1981, is a Spanish art teacher, comic artist, monologuist and one of the country's earliest YouTubers, formerly known online as Loulogio. In early 2011 he signed with Santi Millan's production company Zoopa and went on to appear in television programmes including Visto lo visto and Fiesta Suprema.

He has toured as a stand-up monologuist across Spain and Andorra and worked on Martin Pinol's film El Dietista. He co-presented the TVE La 2 show Fiesta Suprema alongside Outconsumer, Bollicao and Javi Sancho. One of his best known videos coined the word "batamanta" for a blanket-robe that had no name before across the Spanish-speaking world.

Before turning to comedy, Sanchez worked mainly as a painter and drawing teacher, and even ran a painting workshop. Ahead of his rise on YouTube in 2010, he published two comics, El regreso del hombre pez (2009) and La caja de Basilio (2010), the first of which won the Josep Coll award at Barcelona's international comics fair. He then set his stand-up career aside to focus on comics, publishing the Taxus trilogy between 2017 and 2019: El ultimo en llegar, La cabra and Lo que dejamos atras.

In December 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown, he published his fourth comic, El Don, which won Best Comic from the Booksellers' Guild of Madrid in 2021.
