Felix Redka

Felix Redka is a stand-up comedian from Sumy, Ukraine, widely referred to by international media as Ukraine's top stand-up comedian. Before pursuing comedy full-time, he worked as a manager and show organizer for touring comedians, gaining stage experience from both sides of the curtain. He is known for his sharp social commentary, his iconic character "People's Mayor" Anatolii Pochechun, and the podcast "Comic Plus Historian," which blends comedy with Ukrainian history.

In late March 2022, just weeks after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Redka and two fellow comedians organized a stand-up show inside a bomb shelter in Sumy - a city then surrounded by Russian forces. The show was attended by 150 locals seeking relief, and a recording went on to be viewed by millions online, making it one of the most shared cultural moments of the early invasion period. The moment confirmed his path: if his mind was still producing jokes in the worst conditions imaginable, he was meant to be a comedian. Since then, he has toured across Ukraine and Europe (UK, Poland, Brussels, Scandinavia, Amsterdam) and completed his first North American Tour in spring 2025, with dates in Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. A portion of tour proceeds goes to support Ukraine's Armed Forces.

Redka's sets mix sharp social observation with a raw honesty about what it means to live through war - for those inside Ukraine and those who have left. His groundbreaking project "Stand-Up in a Bomb Shelter" has become part of how the world understands Ukrainian resilience.
