Alingon Mitra

Alingon Mitra is an American stand-up comedian and television writer based in New York City. A Harvard graduate who wrote for The Harvard Lampoon, he is known for his tightly constructed jokes, original premises, and affable stage presence. Mitra has built a national following through late-night appearances and writing credits on major comedy shows.

Alingon Mitra made his television debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing, where he won the show's Comic Comeback contest. He has performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Adam Devine's House Party. As a writer, he was on staff at The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Comedy Central and Adam Ruins Everything on TruTV. He was selected as a New Face at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal in 2015, and he won the Boston Comedy Festival and the Funniest Comic in New England contest.
