She has appeared in television and web series, films and music videos, including Awkward, Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," Ant-Man, Hello, My Name Is Doris, Big City Greens, Amphibia and Blade of the 47 Ronin.
In 2015 she launched a clothing line called Ghost and Stars. She is also the author of So Much I Want to Tell You: Letters to My Little Sister, a 2017 book in which she writes about her sister's suicide and her own path to fame.
