Ari Matti Mustonen

Ari Matti Mustonen is an Estonian-American stand-up comedian, born January 20, 1992 in Estonia, now based in Austin, Texas. After a decade-plus headlining career in Estonia, where he became one of the country's biggest stand-up draws, he relocated to the United States in the mid-2020s and became a paid regular at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership and a recurring performer on the live podcast Kill Tony.

Ari Matti's 2020 nationwide Estonian tour HUPPA! sold over 13,000 tickets, and his 2021 follow-up FLAMINGO sold 20,000 tickets, cementing his place in Estonian comedy history. His US breakthrough came on The Joe Rogan Experience episode #2186 in 2024, which has well over a million views. He appears on the Netflix special Kill Tony: Once Upon a Time in Texas, which reached the Netflix Top 10 in nearly a dozen countries (number 2 in Estonia). Before moving to Austin, he spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, featuring and headlining at Yuk Yuk's and The Comedy Mix, and self-promoted his hour Imported Goods at the Rio Theatre. His comedy is high-energy observational storytelling about Eastern European life, martial arts and the immigrant experience.

Ari Matti is a paid regular at the Comedy Mothership in Austin, Texas and tours the United States headlining clubs including the Improv chain (Brea, Irvine, Milwaukee) and Comedy Works Denver. He continues to play occasional dates in Estonia and across Europe.
