Dan Nainan
Stand-up comedian from United States ๐บ๐ธ
About Dan Nainan
Dan Nainan's act starts from his mixed Indian and Japanese heritage, with openers about what happens when the two cuisines and cultures share one family, and he keeps the material clean, steering away from vulgar jokes. That choice suits the market he works in: most of his bookings are corporate events, weddings and private functions rather than comedy clubs.
He has been open about the business logic, telling the Washington Post that corporations, weddings and senior-citizen centres are where the money in comedy lies. His audiences have included President Barack Obama. Before comedy he studied business at the University of Maryland.
