Dave Sirus

Dave Sirus is an American writer and stand-up comedian who produces and writes sketch comedy and has been a writer for Saturday Night Live since 2015. His most well-known character is faux reporter Brick Stone, who became known for ambush interviews with members of the Westboro Baptist Church, as well as Occupy Wall Street residents, street preachers, and the general public. He ceased performing the character in 2015, largely due to his schedule. For his SNL work he was nominated for an Emmy for Writing in a Variety Series and won a WGA award, and he is also a writer for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. A long-time friend of comedian Pete Davidson, Sirus co-wrote the film The King of Staten Island with Davidson and Judd Apatow, serving as a writer and co-producer.
