Elijah Daniel

Elijah Daniel (born January 9, 1994, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American comedian, rapper, record producer, songwriter and author. Raised as an evangelical Christian, he began writing comedy while living with and caring for his ill grandmother, and gradually became known online through a stream of satirical social media posts. In 2016 he announced on Twitter that he would get drunk and write an erotic novel about Donald Trump, and within four hours self-published Trump Temptations: The Billionaire & The Bellboy, a parody of Fifty Shades of Grey, on Amazon. He later began a rapping career under the name Lil Phag in late 2017, building a following for his music alongside his comedy work. He is also part of the EDM/pop duo adam&steve alongside his fiance, Dr. Woke, whom Billboard has dubbed the gay Chainsmokers. In 2017, Daniel and fellow comedian Christine Sydelko jointly won Best Comedian at the Shorty Awards, recognizing his online comedic influence.
