About Kyle Ayers
Kyle Ayers is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and producer based in New York City, originally from Lake Tapawingo, Missouri. He is best known for his debut comedy album Happiness, his alt-scene live show Boast Rattle, the podcast Never Seen It, and for live-tweeting a couple's rooftop breakup in Brooklyn in 2013, an event that went viral worldwide as #roofbreakup.
Ayers built his name on the New York alt circuit and made his late-night television debut on CONAN in 2020. His debut full-length album Happiness, released on Blonde Medicine on October 16, 2020, was recorded outdoors and topped the iTunes Comedy Charts on release. He created and hosts Boast Rattle, a head-to-head compliment-battle show that later became a SiriusXM series and was adapted into the Quibi TV show Nice One!, with Ayers as executive producer. His live show Never Seen It, where comedians rewrite famous movies and TV shows they've never watched, became a top iTunes podcast on Starburns Audio. He also created the viral podcast Faking A Murderer, an eight-hour conversation about Making a Murderer with comedians who didn't know he had never seen the show. His style is dry, story-driven, and absurdist.
Ayers performs regularly at New York Comedy Club and other downtown rooms on the New York alt circuit, with national tour dates announced on his website and Instagram. Boast Rattle continues to run as a live show and SiriusXM series, and new episodes of Never Seen It publish through Starburns Audio.
