Mario Leon Adrion

Mario Leon Adrion is a German-American stand-up comedian, YouTuber and former fashion model born January 21, 1994, in Alpirsbach, in Germany's Black Forest region. He began modeling at age 18 after being scouted via Facebook to take part in New York Fashion Week, going on to work full-time in New York, Italy and Asia and to appear in Vogue and on ABC and Pro7. In 2019 he served as a judge on the fourteenth season of "Germany's Next Topmodel" alongside Heidi Klum. Citing experiences of sexual harassment in the industry, he left modeling, moved to Los Angeles in 2020 and performed his first comedy open mic that year, later training in improv at the Second City theater in Hollywood. He became known for comedy contrasting German and American culture, including an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and built an international following through "The German Efficiency Tour," which sold out shows across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. His debut hour-long special, "My Struggle," filmed over four sold-out shows at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, premiered on YouTube in March 2026, and he has since continued touring with "The Superior Comedy Tour."
